Lot 1: A German WWII Grand Cross of The Order of the German Eagle, in military style with crossed swords and white enamelled maltese cross; slight spotting to enamelling and light tarnish, with fluted back, in black presentation box, no makers or silver marks sighted; authenticity/provenance unconfirmed but a quality piece; possibly attributable to a refurbished C.F. Zimmerman example, or a exceptional vintage replica, 8.5cm (dia.)
