Lot 17 - FRANCISCO GOYA (1746-1828): ���Extrana Devocion!��� (Strange Devotion!) Registration No.365225.0001. Etching burnished aquatint or lavis and burnisher on laid paper. Plate 66 from ���Los Desastres de la Guerra��� (Disasters of War). From the second edition, limited to 100 examples printed in the Calcografia for the Real Academia in 1892. Goya executed the eighty-two plates for the Disasters of War between 1810 and 1820, during the French occupation of Spain by Joseph Bonaparte (1808-1813). These nightmarish scenes depicted the atrocities committed by both the French and Spanish during the occupation. In gallery quality gold frame and comes with a certificate of authenticity (registration Appraisal certificate from Shapiro/Park West with an appraisal value of $3,075 (USD) Size: artwork 15 x 20 cm, frame 67 x 70 cm
FRANCISCO GOYA considered to be among the last of the Old Masters created numerous paintings, etchings, drawings and lithographs. Served as a court painter to Spanish and Napoleonic rulers.

Collections
To collect your purchases please attend the collection address during the times advised with a copy of your winner's e-mail and photo ID.

If you intend to send a third party to collect your goods on your behalf, you need to send them with a copy of your winner's e-mail along with a photocopy of your photo ID and signed note of authority permitting staff to release your purchases to the third party.
