We’ve created an easy to follow, step-by-step guide to help you sell your item at auction. As Canberra's only full-service auction house, The Auction Barn provides clients with selling solutions across the entire auction category and price spectrum. With the largest calendar of auctions in the Canberra, we are perfectly placed to recommend the most suitable auction and sale timing for the dispersal of your items.

Appraisal

The Auction Barn offers complimentary appraisals online and onsite (by appointment). Contact us to organise an inspection via phone call or email. Simply click (02) 6239 2095



Consignment

After the initial inspection, if you decide to offer your item at auction, our specialists will advise the most suitable auction for your item and an appropriate estimate



Auction / Payment

On delivery to The Auction Barn, your item/s will be lotted in the next auction available. After the successful auction of your item, you will receive payment into your nominated bank account, minus commission and fees

 
 

If the auction route isn't for you - We are always interested in purchasing good examples of most quality items. You're welcome to bring any items you wish to sell along to our showrooms any day of the week. Please note its recommended to send photos first.

BusSell

Sell From Our Rooms

Simply drop your assets to us or we can arrange logistics on your behalf. Your item will be categorized and listed into the best-suited auction. We then collect payment, deduct fees and commissions, and transfer the remaining balance to your nominated account.


PremSell

Sell From Your Premises

This includes a free appraisal for items & eliminates the costs of logistics. We can then arrange for our team to catalogue & photograph items onsite for auction. Upon completion of the auction, we will then collect payment, deduct fees and commissions and transfer the balance
